gc8-r
will update you all tonight...... as now have the money for full rebuild... but will be the end of it racing ever again,as couldnt chance it going bang...! all that it would do is have a rolling road to make sure its safe....and got enough bhp.. and no before enyone says,i would not be able to fit a ecu and get it mapped, its the rebuild and thats it.. as the law(other half)has said that if i pay for engine, all that could be done to it is servicing.. so we will see what goes on . decision will be made monday???! Big 'D'
I would recommend you get it mapped at some stage though mate as I would put money on it that it was detination that killed your big end. Cheers Iain Link to comment
gc8-r
the trouble is ian,if i get the rebuild i wont be able to do anything...(i mean "anything") catch 22,.. its rebuild or sell, and one offered under 3k,2nd person has not got back to me yet!!! and mapping means a ecu (which i cant afford)so might just cut and run... Piggyback ecu mate like mine would be roughly £500 fitted and mapped mate. Cheers Iain Link to comment
