myles
Crikey lads! all go eh Chris - bummer mate, but i hope you get what you want for it mate... always thought you were more of a nissan driver lol! my dad loves em Myles - what happened dude? if they pay you out will you get another mate? Iain - if you'd had a smaller breakfast mate!!!! Matt, I was driving through camp, some guy in a Ford Ranger (the Hummers harder brother) goes over the speed hump and stops, so I decided to keep my distance and stopped before said hump. He saw some git in a van (Sorry, Iain!) and reversed back to talk. Before I had a chance to evade the move, he was on me, slowly, but enough to fold the bonnet in half, push back both headlights, bend the slam panel, crack the grill, and as the bodyshop found, damaged the wings and bumper as well. He phoned me tonight and told me he had told Admiral it was about £3200 worth of damage. I was concerned that they would write it off, but he said that if it is work for a third party, they cover up to nearly the total value of the vehicle, not 50% like if it was my fault. There ya go, my tale of woe. Link to comment
Big 'D'
LOL Matty if there had not been a 40mph head wind I would have smashed a good 11 in there but I will save that for next time Cheers Iain Link to comment
Bailey73
My hair still hasn't recovered from that head wind LOL Thanks for organising a great weekend.. it was fantastic. Maybe we can look at Rally GB for our next camping trip I only just made it home in one piece.. I was on the dual carriageway doing about 70 and had just checked my mirrors only to find when I looked ahead a Mercedes had emergency stopped in front due to people rubber necking an accident on the opposite side.. I slammed on my brakes and as I had only just checked my mirrors I knew there was nobody in the lane next to me so I swerved into it, I missed the Mercedes by about 4 feet. Anywayz.. Thanks again to everyone who made it an excellent weekend. Link to comment
Bailey73
Iain would also get a better time if he concentrated on the Strip... rather that tuning the stereo lol Link to comment

myles
Oh dear mate, oh dear Those rangers are pretty monster! did you climb into the back seats? Not to clear on how you are getting this resolved? You will need to tell your insurers as they might want to assess it for themselves, and although I'm sure the guy is decent enough it will cover you? He admitted it, his insurance admitted their clients liability, and its in the shop now. Just waiting for the ok from Admiral, to go ahead with the work! Link to comment

myles
I was going to say, a cheap way to get the Type R on the road again is to weld a pushbike into the floor, the car is quite light. Youll be back on the track again in no time. Also you should be able to equal that 13.1!!! Thatll do, wont it Matt? Are you keeping it, by the way? Link to comment
