gazb Posted August 6, 2009 Posted August 6, 2009 Hey all just a qick question car going in for mot tommorow and worried about emisions test as i deleted the third cat with a japspeed delete pipe but as far as i was told i could delete this as car has three cats in total and it would pass mot is this right any ideas cheers
sparky_sj04 Posted August 6, 2009 Posted August 6, 2009 What car do you have mate? Just wondering because you say the 3rd cat? Mine (Hawk STI) had main cat in downpipe, then cat in "cat" pipe, and then centre section with a bit of a silencer in it. So what one do you mean? I'd say from what you have said that you'll sail through MOT no problem..

notsosmall Posted August 6, 2009 Posted August 6, 2009 You should be fine mate That's the only cat i have removed to stay mot friendly
cruz104 Posted August 6, 2009 Posted August 6, 2009 fingers crossed thanks guys You will be fine I have the same set up and sailed through no bother.
Phil MC Posted August 7, 2009 Posted August 7, 2009 You'll be fine mate . Some folk have decat up-pipe, Sports cat down-pipe and de-cat centre section and pass emissions test no problems, so you'll be ok too . I'll be doing this too when I get round to mapping the car.
