scoobysailor Posted July 22, 2009 Posted July 22, 2009 I got my car back from Hypertech last night, after it being up there for a few weeks. I can't thank Dunc enough for getting it sorted. It was a bit of a saga to get to the bottom of the snags. It's back to pulling like a train again

fai17 Posted July 23, 2009 Posted July 23, 2009 What was wrong with your car Fraser? But glad it's sorted
scoobysailor Posted July 23, 2009 Author Posted July 23, 2009 What was wrong with your car Fraser? But glad it's sorted It was running rich up to 5000rpm and then going mega lean after 5000rpm, I was also losing power at random points after above 5000rpm. Dunc really spent some time getting it sorted for me, even after an ECUTEK run was suggesting everything was ok, he continued digging and watching what was going on with my mix on the dyno, and got to the bottom of it. In the end I had to replace the MAF (which sorted the power loss), fuel pump and filter. I replaced the panel filter for good measure while it was there!! The car was up there for about three weeks while I was away on holiday. His good reputation is thoroughly deserved. I can't recomend him enough.
