Stevie G Posted July 9, 2009 Posted July 9, 2009 Has anyone heard of CRN brake discs And if so, are they any good? Cheers
evil evo Posted July 11, 2009 Posted July 11, 2009 Hi i use these people for my discs , i find the grooved are the best for hard use as drilled tend to split when you get discs glowing red hot , got a set on evo and scoob and both have performed perfectly shocker
hi_jac Posted July 11, 2009 Posted July 11, 2009 Is that the same discs you used at kames Don, when you kept locking up and running off track
Spaceman Posted July 12, 2009 Posted July 12, 2009 bet your glad that day eh Jac give you half a chance old yin lol
patsy Posted July 12, 2009 Posted July 12, 2009 I had a pair of these up front when I first got my motor nearly 3 years ago, I had nothing to compare them too before hand. They seemed to work ok though. After about a year they were due for a change as the grooves were pretty worn away, maybe due to using yellow stuff pads? Ryan

evil evo Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 Is that the same discs you used at kames Don, when you kept locking up and running off track hello young man the locking up was due to everytime i pushed the brakes the front calipers seized on stopping me dead i spent the following week stripping calipers and trying to unseize the pistons , it had nothing to do with the discs i think these disc are value for money as they dont give brake wobble and seem to last ok anyway i am normally only 3 to 4 hundreds a lap of yourself and seeing i dont have 500 bhp and massive ap brakes or abs i think these discs normally produce the goods and would recommend them to anyone catch you at kames mate with old scoob again as evo still not ready to kick your butt , i will tell you story about it when i see you next oh and how about that mot for the 5 cheers Don
evil evo Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 check your email don feck all in my email in box yet mate
