denners Posted June 28, 2009 Posted June 28, 2009 Hi guys I'm needing to get the cars valeted and was wondering if anyone had any recommendations in the Ayrshire/Glasgow area? I don't really need the full detailing treatment, just a decent interior clean and maybe a wax/polish. I'm a bit wary of taking them anywhere without knowing I'm not leaving them in the hands of total clowns..... Any advice appreciated (especially who to avoid!) Cheers, Matt
nkwrx Posted June 28, 2009 Posted June 28, 2009 Mr Auto, behind Irvine train station have a good rep.
PAUL-KILLIE Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 HI, I recommend SMART CAR in Kilmarnock. They have been in business for nearly 20 years and I can't fault them. They regularly valet porsches/Ferraris etc and the owner is a classic car enthusiast and also a perfectionist! They use Auto Glym products. They are located on Southook Road in Kilmarnock (off Western Road, near Bonnyton). The number is 01563 574070. Its usually about £45-£60 for a full valet depending on how dirty the car is. This included engine bay, interior and exterior. Mini valets are about £25(interior hoovered, not shampooed)
Rubix_Cube Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 I know a boy starting out in the detailling work and he is £100 for a full car. he can work wonders with swirl marks: Wing Before Wing After Bonnet Before Bonnet After
