scoobysailor Posted June 14, 2009 Posted June 14, 2009 (edited) Popped along in the afternoon for a nosey First time I have watched cars on the RR scary stuff! just thinking they are going to go pop!! but very interesting Mine very nearly did!!.......I have a very sick scooby . I will need to get back to see Duncan to get my boost/fuelling sorted out. Well done to everyone who turned up, the black R34 GTR was my favorite of the day (except the scoobies of course). paul555sti Posted June 14, 2009 Posted June 14, 2009 Mine very nearly did!!.......I have a very sick scooby . Hope its nothing serious mate . Anybody get a list of the various figures achieved today?
fai17 Posted June 14, 2009 Posted June 14, 2009 I had an enjoyable day supporting the scooby squad even tho my own scooby is ready for the event. Was to catch with everyone... Mark aka Frank STI Nice to meet you even tho i did call you FRANK allday ...sorry mate. Got say welldone to The Hypertech crew for the excellent work and good money raise for charity Oh and thanks to Tom Cruise for the ride up there and back
cullenmin Posted June 15, 2009 Posted June 15, 2009 Sounds like a successful day you guys had but....... Where is all those big bhp & torque figures Is there a list of all club figures? Skyline, evo and scoob? Rich
Frank_STI Posted June 15, 2009 Posted June 15, 2009 When I left there were 2 Skylines over 500bhp, no idea on the torque 2 or 3 Evo's just over 300bhp, no idea on there torque either And then a few impreza's close to 300bhp as well My Figures were 356bhp and 420 ft/lb torque
fai17 Posted June 15, 2009 Posted June 15, 2009 My Figures were 356bhp and 420 ft/lb torque That is one of the highest torque figures i've seen from an oem EJ257 it must for a lively drive. Gonna gees a shot gun next time Mark?
Frank_STI Posted June 15, 2009 Posted June 15, 2009 Just a really well put together engine Pulls well, I'd expect the torque to be a wee bit higher again at 1.6bar and maybe the bhp to reach 400.
fai17 Posted June 15, 2009 Posted June 15, 2009 I think the turbo will reach 400 with a bit of addictive but not sure if the pistons will like the 1.6 bar tho!
Frank_STI Posted June 15, 2009 Posted June 15, 2009 (edited) We'll find out lol, Andy Forrest recommended running it at 1.6bar(mid-range) with additive If it goes pop then I'll go forged internals but not changing the internals just now to run 400bhp. Edited June 15, 2009 by Frank_STI
Frank_STI Posted June 15, 2009 Posted June 15, 2009 Of course but will be nothing compared to your 500+ car
