Grow some nuts you are an RB320 driver now!!!

LOL!!! Yeah, maybe your next mod should be a pair of troosers! LOL!!!! Sorry couldn't resist, I just mentioned to my wife before I read your post and I got grief and flak for even saying the word, "track". She's not a gal for buying fancy clothes, shoes and bags, so I have no come back. Let me know if you get a good price on those troosers; I'll need a pair too! ;):o

I know if I don't do it I'll regret it... but then again at £800 for a set of tyres I might well regret that too!

Get yourself a set of spare wheels with tyres especially for the track.

convince her that going on track is the safest environment to learn how to drive the scoob and handle the car...

she wouldnt want you to lose control of the car if its snowy when you're dropping her off at her parents now, would she?

I can see both points of view but if its your car and you bought an impreza for what they can do on B roads ect then surely a track is the best place to REALLY see what it can do in a safe environment. It's hard to put the power down safely on the road so I say track it!

I'm going to need a bigger garage than house at this rate... and then a huge driveway for everything else

Don't suppose anyone knows of decent lock-up facilities in the Central belt? There is 100% no way it would fit at my house and I don't fancy leaving it on the street. Some swine snapped the wing mirror off my Defender the other week!
