Sounds a bit dodgy, I never top mine up between services.

Yeah, they do use a bit more but not as much as you are suggesting though, might wanna get that checked out.

Jonh your say doesn't count because you have different pistons.

What's the oil consumption like with everybody else's 2.5 scoob? Mine seems to be using a bit more than I think is normal!

If you are driving the car hard then it will use oil, just keep it top up it's not a prob.

I have only ever had to top it up slightly in between services maybe 100ml but I change the oil every 3500miles thats may be why I don't notice it as alot. I have heard thou that 2.5L does use a little more oil than the 2.0L

Yes i need to top up now and again, but then again i do drive it about a bit tasty now and again...i thinks this is the norm again depending what enternals your running...

I notice it more on start-up on mine.. with the full de-cat, there is a puff on startup from stone cold. I never notice anything (and neither does anyone following me) when driving on or off boost.
