john_mchutchison Posted March 13, 2009 Author Posted March 13, 2009 just found out that i might have been bleeding them in the wrong order. I did it furthest from servo to nearest to servo but its supposed to be front passenger, Rear driver, front driver, rear passenger. Can anyone confirm this for me.

Hi mate the order for a classic is front right, rear left, front left, rear right (right drivers side) hope this helps andy
craigdmcd Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 A routine is an old wife's tale, been bleeding brakes for 20 years, and it really doesn't make a difference. the big thing is to make sure that the fluid doesn't get too low, and that each pump or the pedal is nice and slow up and down. Have you bleeding the inner nipple on the Brembos first, then moving to the outer nipple?

craigdmcd Posted March 15, 2009 Posted March 15, 2009 Yep, air always rises to the top, so you really were fighting a losing battle.
