Prodrive Sti?

hi wondering if anyone knows the history of an 02 sti being sold at v8 garage in falkirk. was in too see it today thinking about tradeing my uk300 in for it.

would like too know a bit more about it if anyone knows, just because im sure prodrive sti's had a different grill? this ones got a wrx grill on it and is really very low milage for its age just wonder if its got a dodgy history? maybe front end smash just found it funny to have wrx grill and a front end that has got zero stone chip-age!

any info would be good!

its on the register if its the same car that they had 4 months ago,standard wrx grille,em light on.WALK AWAY!!!

by register i take i he means accident repair do 10 quid rac check on it.

a can1t for the life of me work out where the garage is

all you have to do is ask them if its been bumped they will know being a trader and they legally have to tell you if it has if not you can have them done.

ask for the reg and let them know what you want it for they should tell you if they know anything

aye will do but id have liked to hav a check done on it tonight. im not too bothered if its been bumped as the repair is obviously quite a high standard but i will give it another look over just 2 double check . its more the engine management thing but the light is out now and he did say its just had a lambda sensor fitted to erradicate a cel problem so it may have been that?

if it is on the register as cat c or d write off make sure the price reflects it.

irrespective whether cat c or d its value would be half that of a perfect unbumped vehicle.

ive still not got round to going too see it again and if its cat c or d i wont be touching it unless its for peanuts. gav you could be the man to find me a bugeye sti tho ! might get round to you this weekend see what you have available!
