UK300_loon Posted February 20, 2009 Posted February 20, 2009 Hi, I've got a mate who has juts bought his first Scoob and he's looking for some advice on where to get his car serviced in or around the Aberdeen area. Although I'm in Aberdeen myself I make the trip down to AWD whenever I need any work done so haven't been much help to him. Any recomendations would be much appreciated. Cheers, Alan.
scouk Posted February 20, 2009 Posted February 20, 2009 Possibly one of the best bets is BHP Developments.. That's assuming Wuz is in the country at the time Failign that I believe T&C will still honour subaru servicing despite not being an official Dealer? I'm personally using AWD at the mo.. But may look closer to home after next service.. It is a fair trek from Elgin... BTW - WEre you up at the snowman rally last week? Thought I spotted your car up there somewhere..
jenniec76 Posted February 20, 2009 Posted February 20, 2009 There is Brian Downie in Kemnay, but l don't know what he's like. Someone else here has maybe had work done by him.

UK300_loon Posted February 21, 2009 Author Posted February 21, 2009 Russell, wasn't forgetting about you, definatley would point my mate in your direction but didn't think you were back yet. April your back.........I'll see how things are going with my RB5, a 2.5 could well be on the cards. Bet you've already got a crowd of folk battering your door down looking to get some work done. Al.

I understand what your saying Al - I'm just sad that our 5 month holiday down here couldn't be more "permanent" List of people wanting stuff done gets bigger every day, but room can always be made for preferred personnel" Russell Edited February 22, 2009 by WUZ
UK300_loon Posted February 22, 2009 Author Posted February 22, 2009 Nice one. Every time I visit my brother and his family over in OZ it certainly gets harder to find reasons for why I'm not out there myslef. And thats usually only for 3 weeks at a time I can manage, never mind 5 months! The grass is most definitely greener in this case. So, decision time it is for the RB5 then..........does it stay and get the treatment or do I move on already? I'll keep you posted and no doubt have umpteen questions about the spec of the build if thats the route I'm going to go down. Cheers again, Al.
