Scooby Hoo? Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 I would like to thank Ian and Dean for their hospitality today and add thanks to you all for making it a very enjoyable day. This turned out to be the second best meet of the year thus far. Did any of you catch the Ford Fiesta, he was lapping nearly everything on the track.
granby Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 That Fiesta was a bit quick, he passed me & dunks on the back straight and then he was on 3 wheels around the next corner

T123VOR Posted March 5, 2009 Posted March 5, 2009 Well theres a bunch of friendly scooby owners and Brands hatch close by wat more could a guy want Hey Craig Glad you're alive! What did the garage say about the cause- i assume they will cover the costs for you? It was a real shame for you -but rest assured it looked and sounded like a brute when you were going round Care to share the spec with us? Trevor
p060064h Posted March 6, 2009 Posted March 6, 2009 Hey CraigGlad you're alive! What did the garage say about the cause- i assume they will cover the costs for you? It was a real shame for you -but rest assured it looked and sounded like a brute when you were going round Care to share the spec with us? Trevor They said they will sort it but no mention of covering my costs and i dont really know how to put it to them. 2.5 conversion, using Rick Wood CNC heads, Cosworth large valves and cams, GT35/42R twisted up pipe system with remote wastegate, Twin plate clutch, Perrin intercooler and fuel rails, with a swirl pot fuel system and Aeromotive pump and filter. Also Cosworth baffle plate with RC catch tank and oil return system, Cosworth large rotor oil pump, simtek ecu, Apex suspension and K sport brakes. And much more but thats the thick of it. 585 bhp@1.7bar on pump fuel. I will be increasing the boost and adding 10/15% meth for track use later this year. Craig.
T123VOR Posted March 6, 2009 Posted March 6, 2009 Very nice spec! I would expect them to cover at least some costs- especially as it could have been far worse- but it's hard to prove liability i suppose.
p060064h Posted March 6, 2009 Posted March 6, 2009 I will ask em about it when i go down to sort the brakes out. Craig.
