braveheart Posted January 30, 2009 Posted January 30, 2009 Hi folks, looking for some advise, i am trying to find out the the Off set for my car as, it is in the bodyshop at the moment getting a full wide arch body kit on simlar to the 22B, however i have gone stuck as im over in Iraq, and the body shop has asked me wot size of wheels and tyres would go on the car he recons, i will need 18 s by 8and half wide however dont know wot the off set would be.....any ideas it on a classic 1996 import The second thing is im looking to buy wheels and tyres asap. any recomodations where to get thease wheels i want a wheel that has a deep rim... as he needs them to put on asap as the wheel arches need to be cut back, or if any one can let me borrow a front and rear wheel untill i buy some so he can do the cuts, to its propper dimentions if not he will have to wait. I will pay for the use of the wheels if any 1 has any too borrow. Thanks for your help Cheers. Chris.

ANDYJDMSTI Posted January 30, 2009 Posted January 30, 2009 Half way down the page it gives you fitments for 7.5x18 on the 22B........says the offset is 35mm wheels If you are wanting the wheel to sit out flush with the arch (look at a 22B and you will see the wheel sits just in from the arch) then you may need spacers and longer wheel studs (i needed longer studs on mine when i did it). Derek Hi Derek, yes the car should be looking sweet once it finished just this hurdle of getting wheels, does not help when you thousands of miles away, the joys off modding i suppose it a full kit mate all fibegllass no carbon fibre im affraid a bit too expensive..it was still in the wrapper when i decided to buy it lol..some one from my neck of the woods is doing all the work....OOOOOh yes there is only 1 colour to have your car in thats WHITE !! lol Hope all is well and hows yours running...
