GazTurboUK Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 Anyone fitted one of these and if so how did it affect your emissions come MOT time? Already have 3"turbo back with no cat and was thinking of replacing the up-pipe too. Any comments and info welcome Cheers
ryan_gwa Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 When I bought my car, it had a 3" de-cat exhaust, from Downpipe back. Since then I fitted a 2.5" exhaust and it's made it soo much better. 3" with both de-cats is far too much for my non-remapped UK turbo, ruins the drive of the car in my opinion.

Aiming for a reliable 300bhp

It's getting remapped on Monday so keep an eye on the forums for what figures it makes.
ryan_gwa Posted January 18, 2009 Posted January 18, 2009 Does a STi TMIC make any difference over a standard one like on my MY00 Uk turbo? And....is there meant to be a cat on the Up-pipe to the turbo? Not sure if mine has one
