Best: Just keeping Higgy in sight on way back from highland run in August and passing an elise and another scoob on route.

Worst: A mint white evo 6 (later found out it was far from standard!) leaving me for dead joining the linwood bypass, at linwood heading for glasgow.

Not so much an owned but one night whilst coming home from Stirling towards Airth . There is a long straight after the caravan sales place and i was aware of a car approaching rapidly from behind. I was in my golf gti sitting about 80 but because of the car coming up quickly behind i lifted off to sit at the speed limit. It was then that i saw my first 22b , not for long mind you :P .

Gav i am not sure if you might know the owner i think he had a yellow type r subaru as well.

Best.....M77 Aston DB9 Vantage....man was this Aston wide looking or what.Guy in Aston was tailing me from Glasgow to M77 in traffic but as traffic moved over i select 4th foot to floor and 2.1 bar and Aston was left behind until the next traffic back us up.It was like this for the next few traffic queues.I then let the Aston passed me on M77 where it opens up to 3 lanes.

I remember that Aston on that cold crisp morning on the way to Crail. Did he not pass you on the first fast sweeping bends with the rest of us. :P

My embarrisment was a 309gti. I had just pulled out from a show at ingelston and i was behind this 309 gti thingy at the lights. the lights say go and this boy was off, not expecting it, i was left for dead, trying to make up lost ground I put my foot to the floor and while i made good progrss the dude backed me up. (now i'am off boost ) and the dude smoked me to the next set of lights. If that was not enough he stopped at the next set of traffic lights and asked me what power my car was and when i said 380bhp he Laughed and told me he only had 300 and can't wait to tell his mates

Colin

There were 2,Gary Walkers and Hectors,do you not remember the Auralis blue one or the Dark Aubergine one, both P plates, both mine.

Gav

Gav

Was your Aubergine Cossie a Limited Edition Monte Carlo per chance? Always remember the Green one with the Irish plate (GAZ I think) and big wheels and brakes and always sat with J20NOV. While we are reminiscing did anyone on here own an ex Fraser Anderson silver Prodrive (WR Sport) Saloon demo S20SUB which had a Racewall Cowdenbeath sunstrip?
