scientific steve
Just a quick one for you puter experts out there Whilst I was offshore I decided to update my Internet Explorer Now I cant log onto my wireless at home. I didnt have any problems logging onto the wirless offshore or at work when I was in yesterday. I've deleted all the cookies, history and temp files, switched the compter and system off but still no joy. I was wondering if it would be something to do with the security settings or owt? I've no idea what I should be doing or have done as my home laptop connects to the internet no bother so it's not the system. Any ideas folks? Cheers Steve Link to comment
st3ph3n
I take it the laptop can see your wireless network but you just can't get internet access? In Internet Explorer go to tools -> internet options -> connections -> LAN settings and make sure all the boxes are unticked. See if that helps. Also try opening a command prompt and typing "ping www.google.co.uk" and see if you get results back. Link to comment
