G.Mac Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 (edited) Hello there, I have just bought a set of wheels and they came with Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta tyres and I have a wee queery about them. Are these tyres sided? The tyre on the left looks fine but the one on the right the tread looks as if it is going in the wrong direction, even if the tyre was turned it would still be wrong? It looks as if I have 4 lefts if that is at all possible?????? looking for some advice from others who run these tyres A confused Graeme Edited December 13, 2008 by G.Mac
Richie Cross Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 Graeme, Don't know if it helps but if you look at the Vredestein site http://www.vredestein.com/Banden_Bandtypes...mp;BandtypeID=3 it has the rear tyres the same as you have in your picture with the main 'band' on the inside?
G.Mac Posted December 13, 2008 Author Posted December 13, 2008 Must be right then, still does not look correct though....lol loks as if im gonna go get wet fitting the wheels then graeme
jcscoob Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 Interesting, my Pradas are the same. I just thought that was what they were meant to be like. But this has always be on my mind Looking forward to a conclusion on this.
dipsy Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 There should be a arrow on the side wall for rotation of the tyre if you don't know that allready
Gumball Posted October 9, 2010 Posted October 9, 2010 was this ever confirmed as being right or wrong. I have the same tyres and they are doing the same thing. the left of the car point forward and in. the right hand side points backwards and in. WTF?
Gumball Posted October 9, 2010 Posted October 9, 2010 I just answered my own question but hope this helps for anyone else who has wondered. another forum discussion
