col666 Posted November 27, 2008 Posted November 27, 2008 Well after 200 miles in the new car I have noticed a slight rattle from the back end. Only noticable when you are barely crawling along, a very slight rattle then when you stop at say traffic light's sometime's the back end will drop down a tiny amount with a little clunk, does this sound familiar?? Everybody that has been a passenger in the car has commented on it even when I haven't said a word. I know this is a common fault with the Impreza. I've booked it into John R Wier they are looking at it first thing monday morning, got a warranty so not too bothered just a bit annoying. Col.

col666 Posted November 27, 2008 Author Posted November 27, 2008 That was only the 2nd time I have ever been in Weirs and to be honest I wasn't impressed with the staff. The first time I went in and wandered about in the showroom for a good 10 mins and never saw a sole! I thought the place was shut and they had forgot to lock the front door!
scoobyseller555 Posted November 27, 2008 Posted November 27, 2008 Col give Me or Dave a phone and we can get it arranged for you. Gav

RS Grant Posted November 28, 2008 Posted November 28, 2008 "Honest Bob" the 'older' salesman is a good guy and hates having to send people over to Mercedes to speak to the Service Department, he believes it should all be in the Subaru building....... although, that might have changed since I left, I wouldnt know as I'm banned from JRW property. Grieves in Falkirk is a bit more of a trek for us Tayside guys, but the staff there in all departments couldn't be happier to help out, discuss problems and generally have a blether. Cheers, Grant
thewelsho Posted November 30, 2008 Posted November 30, 2008 Ah those crap KYB shockers again! I haven't had any problems with mines at all. Mind you, I had them whipped off at 20k for coilover - yeah!

colzo Posted December 1, 2008 Posted December 1, 2008 Had rear shocks replaced on both my Blobeyes. I would also highly recommend Grieves, top service.
Mako Posted December 1, 2008 Posted December 1, 2008 Aye, if you want decent aftersales service with Subaru then go to Grieves Sad that I have to say that but if you ain't merc then forget Perth.
