ahhhhhh, now theres something i failed to think about, what happens with the tax disc?

just waiting for them to send out the V750 Certificate of Entitlement, does this take the full two weeks to come or is it usually quicker?

got mine in 3 days Dunc. Then send (or take) the V750( remember and fill in the RA details and sign it), your tax disc, MOT and V5C to your local VRO (send special delivery incase the docs go missing!) I'm presuming yours is in Aberdeen?

I sent mine on Monday (to edinburgh) and got the new Tax disc back today

got mine in 3 days Dunc. Then send (or take) the V750( remember and fill in the RA details and sign it), your tax disc, MOT and V5C to your local VRO (send special delivery incase the docs go missing!) I'm presuming yours is in Aberdeen?

Deliberated over L555 BAF or L555 BOT for the last week, finally bought L555 and my initials. Now I'm thinking about having to change every document with the car reg on it and wondering why I bothered...

Dunc, my bad, but you dont send the current tax disc the now. They will send you an envelope to return the old tax disc in once they send you the L555 yin.

The DVLA are SO quick with all this nowadays - I changed the plate recently on my new car & it was all done within 3 days.
