Alright folks,

been looking into getting my MY98 uk turbo onto the rollers to get a power run and checked out to make sure everything is as it should be with it with some mild tweaking if required. Been looking at maybe taking it up to the guys at Extreme and was wondering if anyone has used them before and how you found the experience?

Cheers

Atm its only got a turbo back 3" exhaust with decat from what ive been told by previous owner, boost was turned down because he was scared of the car so its running 7psi just now (want that set at the standard boost) and ive also got a fmic sitting that im looking for advice regarding best time to fit with the setup of the car.

Not looking for a particular figure just after a good power run to make sure fueling etc seems spot on and get an indication of what its running before i start modding it. Only had the car for 7 days hence little info regarding power figures atm

standard boost is 11 psi or 0.8bar boost and that should be around 208bhp as standard

currently running 1.4 bar in midrange with 1.1 bar at top end, producing around 275bhp with the downpipe cat still in place, been tweeked by andy f on a link ecu so running mafless as well

The guys @ Extreme (John and George) are brand new. I've had my car up there a few times before and had no problems what-so-ever. They are very well respected by the Evo community and have built some awesome cars. I'll be using them again next year for some engine work.

Alternatively, Dunc @ Hypertech is also very good. I've used him before and my bro uses him for mods/servicing etc on his Scoob.

 I have been on the rollers at Hypertech and have had all my mods and servicing done there. You won't go far wrong taking advice from Dunc.

I was at a rolling road day at Extreme last year. Nice guys that know their stuff but i think the rollers must have been out that day as alot of the guys were getting higher reading than before!

I was at a RR day last month at Dastek which was also a very good set up & the guys there were very helpful to! :(

Iain01 had his GB270 in at hypertech last month for some tuning & he said he couldnt fault Duncan!
