Guest CRAIG D Posted November 6, 2008 Posted November 6, 2008 Hi, I found an old diff from my 1995 sti, i wasnt to sure if it was knackered so i stripped it down and everything seems to be fine. There was a couple of questions i need to ask 1, from the pic would you say it was a standard diff or an uprated?? Reason i ask is that am sure when i was getting a new gearbox the last time round am sure the guy said it was an uprated diff?? Only words on it are japan NGK ???? and number are 37.9 BP 4 621 Does that suggest anything?? Here is a pic of the diff 2nd thing is i wanted to know what gearbox would suit this ?? agin only letters etc on it are TR 704 B KN51 Again any ideas?? Hope sum1 can heplp
Guest CRAIG D Posted November 6, 2008 Posted November 6, 2008 Yeah thats off sum use for what box and diff i need for my new sti ra the orignal box and diff. Sorted il just need to get them if i cany find out about the other 1. Thanks for that m8
JohnSt Posted November 6, 2008 Posted November 6, 2008 (edited) It's a 4.11 ratio diff, looks like a standard Viscous LSD from what I can see. A better picture showing in through that circular hole would confirm this. An box with a 4.11 front diff and 1:1 drops will do. ---john--- Edited November 6, 2008 by JohnSt

Thnls for that m8
