6 Speed Convertion Kit For Classic

BONJOUR,

Am sure its been asked time and time again but it really getting on my breasts

Am going to fit a 6 speed conversion kit to the classic but sum people say no it doesnt fit and sum people say it does so i wanted to know if anyone here ahve done the convetion and if they have hit any problems?

Basically this is the list am currently hunting for

6 speed box inc DCCD

gear linkage

prop shafts

Rear diff

Both rear hubs

Rear brembo brakes

Can i assume that all the rear anti rollbars etc etc will still fit from my classic and when fitted i can still order/buy parts for a classic and not from the doner car?

Why the hell does buggering about wi cars alway have to be a hassle

Help me please before i waste nearly £3000

Cant get anyone for less tried every1

Also my car havent got any engine,diffs etc etc its a shell so its not just the gearbox i need

m8, try give Dunc a call at Hypertech or Marc at The Garage in Wishaw - I'm sure both ofthem will have good knowledge they can share with you about the conversion. Where are you in West Lothian? I am Livingston but work in Broxburn - seen on the A89 most mornings and nights

I hear about 4-5 scooby a night hammering it up the a89 lol

Ah cool - well my bank is the RBS in Newbridge so watch out for a WR Blue WRX with white wheels near pay day and you'll know it's me lol.

Marc really knows his stuff I'm sure he'll know the answer. He's moved into a nice big new premises in Motherwell now with some cracking kit.

looks like fun.i got rid of the silver one as i wanted something cheaper to run.but discovered cheaper to run=boring to drive so decided to have a shot of a wagon
