Geometry And Allignment Places.

Does anybody here know if there is a place that can carry out allignment and geometry settings (preferably prodrive settings) around here? I usually head down to ELITE in rainham but wondered if there was a garage or tyre and wheel place nearer to walderslade. Let me know guys. Much appreciated.

Well it's not around here but i went to Mocom (North Weald) to have mine done, i've had it done at Elite & Xtreme before but when Mocom did it it's the best so far, might also be down to me having a ALK fitted as well

I'd be with Granby, Elite etc, i have tried various places in Kent over the years and yet to find people that have the right equipment but more importantly skilled staff that know what they are doing!

I had mine done at Elite. But dont assume they are more skilled than anywhere else, its still the same old teenage lads who act surly and disinterested when you go back and complain they have ripped out one of your abs sensors before protesting it was like that before they touched it. But the older generation of staff there i couldnt recommend highly enough.

I have always used Elite too, Never had any problems but to answer you question i don't know any other places..sorry :waving-santa:

Elite will normally just set it to the standard or Prodrive settings, with Zak at Mocom he will ask you what you want from the car and how you drive it and set it accordingly

How much do they charge? Elite was 90 odd quid, are mocom the same? And yes, it was to prodrive settings.

P.S. presumably they set yours up to drive like a bus?

A bendy one at that... the back is quicker than the front and regularly tries to overtake. LOL

Thanks for all the replies guys, will give a few of the suggestions made a call :waving-santa: I have heard TDI in thurrock do a geometry set up but never tried them.

Try Torque Developments at lakeside the can set up for prodrive settings...

I let that F1 Garage near Toy'R Us do a car a few years back, and had to take it to Elite to fix the damage,

Yeah i've always used elite. I compared the price and service to tdi and tdi are a little cheaper. Tdi charge an hourly rate of 80 quid and that would include setting up the cambers including alignment if need be whilst elite charge per corner per camber to be adjusted plus charge for the allignment. I've booked in with tdi and am going to give them a try. I will let you guys know.

Just had my 4 wheel alignment done and once again it was Warren @ Kai that sorted it for me!!

not on site but done nevertheless!!!

Well i could'nt get my allignment done. Needs a track rod! Instead, i got my boost upped a bit
