john_mchutchison Posted October 12, 2008 Posted October 12, 2008 (edited) well i finally took the plunge and changed the colour of my wheels. put them on this morning and was bricking it in case i didnt like them but i love them. they look bigger and for some reason make my car look lower, strange. got them done at powdertech in glasgow and a big thanks to Scoobysailor for borrowing me wheels, cheers mate. any comments welcome. thought i would add a before picture in case anyone hasnt seen a blue scoob with gold wheels before Edited October 13, 2008 by hutch1973

john_mchutchison Posted October 12, 2008 Author Posted October 12, 2008 (edited) thanks for the nice comments guys the cost all in was 260 quid. it was an extra £10 per wheel for that colour. they were away for 3 days but u can get a 1 day service if u leave your car (which i didnt know about) but its prob extra so make sure 1st. I think they go welll with my carbon scoop and will look even better when i get my windows tinted. Just have to get my brake calipers painted now but not sure what colour, any ideas? If so, I like the change - I'm not much of a fan of gold alloys. P.S. You must run that baby hot - the bonnet scoop's all smoked-up!
