Nords Posted September 23, 2008 Posted September 23, 2008 Unabomber, a fellow NASIOC OTer told me to come here for advice (my name is Protege Menace there, you may have seen some of my photoshops in some of our many photoshop threads) One of the rally drivers I codrive for and I are flying to London, driving up to Perth for the rally, then eventually driving to Wales where another rally teammate lives, for a few days. But We've never been to scotland, and are wondering where we should stop by on our trip. So far this is our route: (Google Maps) We will be in the UK for 1 week, so we have a day or 3 after the rally to spend exploring, hopefully on some amazing roads in our 1.25 liter rental car What do you guys suggest we add or remove from our route?
seafar99 Posted September 23, 2008 Posted September 23, 2008 (edited) Why not come along to this http://forums.sidc.co.uk/index.php?showtop...p;#entry1198807 on the sunday , Doune village is only about a 15-20 minute drive from Stirling. Directions fro Stirling: http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?utm_campaign...m=google%20maps Edited September 23, 2008 by seafar99
jae Posted September 23, 2008 Posted September 23, 2008 unfortunately we have picked the very same weekend to have an "end of season" run or else you could have popped in on the way there or back again DGScoobs end of season run
st3ph3n Posted September 23, 2008 Posted September 23, 2008 A stop at Doune on Sunday is WELL worth the visit. - you'll get to see maniacs like that.
