colzo Posted September 12, 2008 Author Posted September 12, 2008 Thanks again guys. Any expensive day out then - detail and foam lance cost a bit ! Well worth it though given the results.I use Werkstatt Acrylic on all of the cars I work on, other than my own with gets the Blackfire treatment. For your car colour Werkstatt is an excellent choice...but I'm sure pb already told you that ! Like a big wean in a sweetie shop Colin! Rich has been at me for months to change to the Werkstat gear. The car looks amazing. I use Polished Bliss for all my products (always buy via their excellent website) but have never ventured up to their workshop. Would love to get the full correction malarky from them but just could not afford it! If you are ever passing pop in, Rich and Clark are the both helpful and genuine guys. the car looked mint last week when you were in,was that before or after the detail?Gav After mate. you are right there gav, bet it was one of the cleanest cars polished bliss have detailed.not be long until you have it in your showroom, come on colin 3 years old now get it traded in, iam sure gav is keen to take your well mint car off you. picts looking good, will need to pop round and see it as it must be cleaner than showroom condition now Don't you start Mark! The Mrs doesn't like Subarus so if I sell it, it won't be for another one. I made the mistake of trying to detail my Golf. Bought a meguiars g220, menzerna polishes, and some swissvax . Spent days doing it, but when the sun hits it you can still see swirls. Reckon I'll sell the stuff and get a pro to do it. The wax smells nice though Which wax are you using? Swissvax products are very good IMO. Try the Autobahn Wheel Wax. Looking good Colin, was wondering when you were posting this up!! From what I've seen you keep the car very well, was there a lot of correction for PB to do???Regards Mike Light swirls and a few RIDS Mike, so not too bad. They only had it for 2 days when they normally recommend 3. Don't know about you but they find Subaru paint very sticky when polishing?
Mike M Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 Yeah Colin, Scoobies are always that wee bit harder, but then that's half the fun!!!
