And i absolutely loved it, but i took its grip and power for granted. Was mabey just a bit too cockey with it.

During last winter on a foggy wet afternoon, between paisley and the hurlet, i cut a corner a little tight and went over a hell of alot of mashed up slipperly leaves on a bend, lost the back end one way, then the other, then this happened...

Needless to say i was gutted, the car was mint, low milage, bought from halleys. not to mention the fact i paid the car in cash in full, i could only afford third party insurance (£2500 due to my age of 21) So i lost the lot..

After months of saving and searching for a new car i was determined to get somthing a little calmer, bmw convertable, a3 3.2 quattro or some kinda of 4x4!! but that was all a sham, my heart was with impreza's! So yet again another trip up to halleys, and got myself this beauty :rotfl:

It was standard 06 WRX with 12,000 miles when i picked it up. since then i have added..

STi spoiler

Wrx mudflaps

Tinted the windows

Blitz nuRspec R Exhaust + sports cat

Warlbro fuel pump

HKS Panel Filter

Baileys D/V

Next on the list is a new downpipe **does anyone have one??**

Anyway, i hope i havent bored you all too much. But i thought id show people that no mater how bad it gets, it can get much much MUCH better :rotfl: and beleive me, i will never make the mistake of taking my car for granted again!!

I know exactly what you mean. I had a car finished in solid black once (owned from new) and it looked fantastic when it was cleaned and polished. Sad thing was I only achieved that level of cleanliness about 15 days out of every year. Most of the rest of the time it looked pure minging . After that motor I pledged never to buy black again.

No disrespect to your choice of colour of course - as the pics show it looks the dunky's doofer when shined up. And at 22 you'll be more inclined to keep it that way than the likes of me :rotfl:
