emoe
What? The price of fuel has been falling at the pumps recently only a little, down our way it went down to 1.09 then 2 days later its back up to 1.11 again. What i was trying to say was that the price drop at the pump doesnt reflect the price drop of the barrel of oil. Link to comment

What i was trying to say was that the price drop at the pump doesnt reflect the price drop of the barrel of oil. in Orkney petrol peaked at £1.28 and is now at £1.24 there taking the pi5s on the highest level i would say some fed up with it Link to comment

Kina my point, the drop in barrel is not being fully represented at the pumps because they know they can get away with keeping a good few pence on the price at the pumps.. Link to comment
thewelsho
Kina my point, the drop in barrel is not being fully represented at the pumps because they know they can get away with keeping a good few pence on the price at the pumps.. This very thing was on the news tongiht. The price of a barrell has came down by 25% from its peak a month or so ago. It is now at the same price per barrell as it was in June, but the price of petrol is higher than it was at the same time. More bad news however: The smaller OPEC nations who produce smaller amounts of oil are wanting the price to go back up and they may get their way. if that is so, then more misery at the pumps. Sick of this $hit I really am. Seems like any excuse whatsoever to push the price up. What did the smaller OPEC nations do when oil was $70 a barrell? Send in the Bush-Boys to take off them!!!!
