Another Newbie

Hi Everyone, right here goes, 5 years ago had a 2001 scoob 5 door,loved it but baby came along and you can guess the rest, anyway recently my audi a6 avant was written off while parked by a 16yold drunk driver. must admit it was a nice car mapped to 180bhp rs6 wheels etc. But been getting all excited again at the thought of another scoob and now the chance has arisen . looking at a 2005 wrx 5 door again (have dogs) have read the wrx not so much lag as the old car and bit better built.

Would this be correct, is there any nasties to look for, my last one was reliable hoping they still are?? cheers

I havent a clue about any nasties on the new ages, i have a classic myself. But welcome back to the scooby club

I have an 01 WRX just now and my last car was an 05 WRX.

Couldn't tell you about spool up as my 01 WRX was mapped when I bought it and my 05 had PPP fitted, the I haven't noticed any nasties on either!!
