Stupid Questions

I've searched scoobypedia but couldn't find the answer to two probably quite stupid questions.

1) When browsing the net for toys for my car, I see them saying this part is for a STI 6 or STI 7 etc etc, all the way up to 10. I think its to basically do with the model variants but I'm never sure which one refers to mine. My car is a 2002 bugeye STI prodrive, what number does that make mine?

2) On the interior of my car, between the sun visors, there is a plastic hinged flap that I have no idea what its for. Could someone enlighten me?

Afaik the bugeye were version 7, blobeye went on to version 8, classics were 1-6

Little plastic flap is for blocking out the sun above the mirror

I've always wondered what that visor was for!!!
