Prefer Liquid Tension Experiment myself But the fusion guitarist in me loves stuff like Spock's Beard Anything that is not straight 4/4 is fine by me lol

Ooh....bold claim I saw Dream Theater earlier this year and they are pretty good musos if truth be told! Awesome to see them live. I have no doubt their stuff is extremely crafted too!

Not heard of Frost before - thanks for the heads up - they sound good....bit of Kings X harmonising in there too.

I most certainly do like my prog and modern "neo-prog" really rings my bell. Porcupine Tree are gods in my book.

I am not so keen on the prog metal though and DT don't really do it for me. I prefer the more melodic styles.

Well Frost were good but Spock's Beard are on a different level and are quite probably the best band I have ever seen.
