pistonbroke2 Posted August 11, 2008 Posted August 11, 2008 Well I had a Good look around the car before it went onto the lowloader and I recon that Daz's mate Gary could pull it all out. Especial after seeing Granby's Toyota Celica rebuild. I was talking with the owner and his friend, and they are going for a reshell, and had a shell located. Looking at the tyre marks I would geuss that the driver come off the gas, because he was carrying to much speed, started to drift and didn't get back on the gas, to pull the car back. Anyone else got any ideas? Yup, my thoughts are, "too much car for the driver", and "driver over confidence".

fudge Posted August 11, 2008 Posted August 11, 2008 I organised that 11.20 session, and don't know of any drivers complaining about the Evo driver. (not to race control or marshalls anyway) Moley, I had assumed that complaints would go to the race control or somewhere similar, maybe they were just verbal complaints between the drivers, not sure mate.
fudge Posted August 11, 2008 Posted August 11, 2008 (edited) Cut & Pasted quote from the Time Attack Forum the winning team Sorry for winning again  Don't think i've seen that many offs/breakages in a long time though :? Award for the biggest repair bill though goes to the Evo in the public track time that rolled into paddock  although word has it he was driving like t**t  Needless to say once again everyone's on track behaviour was exemplary 8-) _________________ 2 - Club Challenge www.scoobyclinic.com Edited August 11, 2008 by skullfudge
Stakka Bo Posted August 12, 2008 Posted August 12, 2008 Waste of a nice Evo, could have been a lot worse for the driver
trails Posted August 14, 2008 Posted August 14, 2008 Do u think it could have opened itself when it rolled over and smashed crap out of the rest of the car lol I was in the silver wagon in that session and was allowed out on track with my window wound down...the noise test was a bit of a farce too; "blip the throttle mate....yeah, thats fine!"
