AlanG Posted May 5, 2008 Posted May 5, 2008 Is it really worthwhile boxing in your air filter? after all the air is going to be compressed (which heats up air), then has to be cooled back down again by the intercooler...
evobaz Posted May 5, 2008 Posted May 5, 2008 Nice figures bro. Should make for an interesting family outing now I've got some flexi tubing stashed away in my garage which'll be perfect for a cold air feed. There might be enough for your car too
pmacFTO Posted May 5, 2008 Posted May 5, 2008 (edited) so you are called Paul and drive a Scooby and have white Innovit Tarmacs? Me too! Car looks good m8, and a very nice engine bay too...I always like my cars to look nice on the outside but my engines are always dirty (but maintained!) Edited May 5, 2008 by pmacFTO

Baz it doesnt surprise me that you have duct in the garage as you have just about every thing else there. The evo may be in for a shock tho as this thing is rapid.
jimser Posted May 5, 2008 Posted May 5, 2008 that must be a blast mate,330bhp in a classic is a very quick road car
frank c Posted May 5, 2008 Posted May 5, 2008 Good to hear Paul Can't have much to do to it know , you sort out the wheels yet ?
paul555sti Posted May 5, 2008 Author Posted May 5, 2008 Jimser its a blast mate! I cant even begin to imagine what some of the lastest cars are like with the 500 bhp. I have been following your thread with interest and it looks like you will have a weapon on your hands once its all set up. Frank i am still unsure as what to do with wheels. I have a picture of Colins car with the taramac wheels on it and thats what i am aiming for.

Aye, no a bad motor right enough..... still prefer the number plate where it is compared to a sticker on the bonnet though Edited May 5, 2008 by Frank C

The car wont be used daily so i will take my chances
frank c Posted May 6, 2008 Posted May 6, 2008 He did say he'd only bring the toy out if it was a nice day...... i might just pop along for a better look Stunning !!
uRaBu5 Posted May 6, 2008 Posted May 6, 2008 Fantastic figures Paul, must be delighted! The car is now going as good as it looks. Regarding you plate, you could fit it on a hinge – have seen this other cars – as you go forward the plate flaps back so the air still gets through. Derek
dan_jess Posted May 6, 2008 Posted May 6, 2008 Paul, i thought you were going for the Revolution wheels? They would look mega on the car and very similar to McRae's
