UK300_loon Posted May 4, 2008 Posted May 4, 2008 if its any help I've recently been advised that the Tein basics are a decent entry level coilover more suited to our roads than the Super Streets. I too was pretty concerned about having too firm a ride as its just nae use if your in B-road attack mode! I'm also not interested in taking my Scoob on a track, hence am looking for something a bit more forgiving. The Super Streets even on their softest setting are seemingly still firmer than the basics. The basics are only height adjustable but at half the price of the AST's I'm definately thinking of giving them a try. I'll be putting the other 500 sheets towards some big brakes Alan.
Joe G Posted May 4, 2008 Author Posted May 4, 2008 Too many kits to choose from. haha!! Just opted for the standard kyb shocks for the moment as the waranty covered them. The roads on the island are pretty poor to say the least.
Joe G Posted May 4, 2008 Author Posted May 4, 2008 thanks for all the replys and opinions. Much apperciated.
