Hi

Do we get discount through Subaru dealers ?

I need a full service kit including cambelt & all oils, as I am getting the car serviced by a friend.

Should i get this kit from a dealer or are there any other companies ?

I am also interested in getting crystal side lights & indicator set, where is the best place to shop ?

Also.........................

I got my wheels refurbished and it has made so much difference to the look of the car, take a look at me pics

Nice job done on those wheels Adam.

Discounts vary, but most dealers seem to have joined in to give SIDC full members a 10% deal on quite a few parts and services.

I have always been very well treated at Cotswold near Witney - Drew can arrange to collect your car and return it, or hire you one of their little Yaris toys for a nominal amount for the day if you need a runaround. They did my cam belt as part of the big service a little while ago and are also quite willing to use your own preference of fluids.

I'm pretty sure that if you still wanted to keep your servicing with your mate, then they will be pretty helpful in getting whatever bits and bobs you need to take the work off site. Tell Drew or Fiona that I pointed you to them and it should make life even easier

I've also used the Aylesbury dealer, but it's a bit big and clinical compared to the very personal attention that Drew and the team give you. I have no idea what their attitude to selling bits / kits to DIY would be though.

Another option, that may also be ideal for your lights, is to talk to Tim at Scoobyparts - fantastic help when Craigy's old wheels needed different fittings to bed in better and has a big collection of bling in his showroom. Just make sure you set your spending limit before you walk in through the door, as there are so many goodies to drool over!!!
