Cornwall Meet

Thought I would post scoobrob's post here as well - hope nobody minds

Hey all there have been a few murmurings of interest in a Cornish meet so I thought I would start this thread to gauge interest. Current dates suggested are 16th or 17th May. I know this is Jap Fest weekend but gotta start somewhere so thought I'd put it out there.

Have been thinking Redruth, Camborne, Gwithian area a car park meet, bit of a coastal cruise and then pub for lunch or evening meal but very open to suggestion on locations that might suit.

Would be fantastic to get something happening in Cornwall.

Very open to all suggestions this is not for me alone just thought I would start a thread for anyone thinking the same way as me.

16th may is a friday & 17th is japfest so will be otherwise booked.

Ed and i have been looking for an excuse to go back to cornwall.................

but we are at japfest as that is my birthday weekend and we always celebrate at japfest

We understand that there is Japfest that weekend and numbers for this Cornwall meet may be low.....

...may also look into organising a weekend break to Cornwall for later in the year

Thanks for posting this up in here was thinking to do it myself.

Totally understand that people are already busy for these dates but as Bailey says maybe there will be a more suitable time to organise something in the future.

As put it in the thread in GD will attend if enough interest is shown, been there done that with the same 2/3 people attending all the time, needs at least 7/8 for it to be worthwhile !

The Swindon April meet was looking a bit skinny, but it's fleshing out now with only a week to go...

Thought I'd give this a nudge back to the top in one final effort Bad timing I guess...... if any one fancies a later date we could give it another shot. Seems to be loads of Scoobs down here but none on SIDC shame really be great to get a bit of a convoy going

would love to come down to cornwall again for a weekend braek with a meet thrown in - loved it last time and even took ed down to cornwall for his 40th birthday - was going to stay 2 nights and ended up staying about a week with some great hosts who used to own a scooby - made his birthday really special for him.....................ahhhhhhhhhhh those where the days

angie and nick have since sold their scooby and i dont know about the daddy and jules anymore or even tony and em.

Any suggestions as to where we wil meet guys I know Bailey73 has a pub in mind, guess we could begin there?
