Towed the car up on the trailer and had a nice easy drive up. On my first run i took Al's nephew out and took it nice and easy. Run number 2 i cranked the boost up to 2.1 bar and i went on my way Run two was beter but number three was the best of the day. Then in the final , up agaings Grant from AWD i posted the second best time of the day A big thanx to all of you for your support as my nerves were a little fraid towards the end Great day had by all. RS Grant Posted April 13, 2008 Posted April 13, 2008 Thats a time sheet I'd be very proud of mate... not bad at all, should be a wee bit more time in it if you actually took some of the weight out of the car and properly prep'd it for the strip!! Cheers, Grant

Peter W Posted April 13, 2008 Posted April 13, 2008 Yep Higgy well done that's some machine you 've got. My son was the the pilot of blue STI all day today. I think he was paired with yourself in his second run & we all know the result. Having said that for his first time on the strip he did very well.

You can only try to beter your imes, people make the mistake of racing the car nexto them ,but we are all racing against the clock. I gave him a few pointers and he said his times got beter there after. Higgy
