recently just bought discs and pads for my WRX, though i have a chance to obtain brembo calipers. i know there is a diffence but unsure what the difference is.

would my WRX discs and pads fit the brembo callipers.

the two cars are both newage WRX MY03 and STI8

You've got issues:

Discs aren't compatible so you'd need new ones. Your pads aren't either. Secondly - what wheels do you have? Stock WRX wheels wont clear the brembo calipers so you'd need to get ones that would fit or get spacers.

Other than that it's dead easy!

As Stephen says Billy, they wont fit, other than that your Calipers bolt straight on and your wheels will clear them. If you want to be 100% sure before buying them, you can bring your car down and put one of your wheels on mine to test it as I have STi8 Brembos on the front. What an improvement! If you sell your 4 pots with new discs and pads you might get around £250 - 300 for them as Classic owners like to upgrade from the standard two-pots.

Grant at AWD was telling me that he's had folks living in Engurland calling him up looking for them, because they are not always that easy to get a hold of...
