Hope the new build goes well and maybe a respray? Mine is still running great after the mapping..thanks again.

Jolly Green Monster Posted March 4, 2008 Author Posted March 4, 2008 pics are a bit carp.. up on ramp http://jollygreenmonster.fotopic.net/p48805788.html how long is an exhaust off the car in one piece!!! http://jollygreenmonster.fotopic.net/p48805789.html some bits removed http://jollygreenmonster.fotopic.net/p48805790.html close up of some damage.. notice wheel scrapped the chassis leg etc http://jollygreenmonster.fotopic.net/p48805791.html crumpled bumper bar http://jollygreenmonster.fotopic.net/p48805792.html Simon
Jolly Green Monster Posted March 4, 2008 Author Posted March 4, 2008 eurosti said: Did the FMIC survive Simon? Yes.. the two brackets on the bottom are bent.. the intercooler moved and the brackets didn't but it doesn't appear to have damaged it. .the bottom line of fins has a small dig from one of the brackets but not the part that passes air through.. I will be straightenning the brackets and then pressure testing the intercooler to make sure but think it is fine.. I was tempted to turn it upside down and pass the pipes through under each headlight but looking today there is a lot of metal to cut out to do that.. currently I use my own pipework and come under the rad and up between rad and engine.. which I think I will do initially the same.. the changing of the pipework can be done at a later date.. as I will be swapping to the MY00 bumper (once repaired) I have rather than the MY96 that came with the car but not straight away so can look at sorting intercooler pipes then.
eurosti Posted March 4, 2008 Posted March 4, 2008 At least some exspense spared then, i notice with the new AB88 fmic kit the pipes now run under the headlights!

Jolly Green Monster Posted March 4, 2008 Author Posted March 4, 2008 in this pic I was thinking of going through the bumper car mounting to chassis leg and under the headlight.. if cutting lots of metal out and making new mount for bumper bar.. Simon

20withascooby Posted March 6, 2008 Posted March 6, 2008 how much u looking for the suspension and is it stiffer then standard and whats adjustable ride hieght/hard softness
Jolly Green Monster Posted March 6, 2008 Author Posted March 6, 2008 haven't looked into prices of suspension recently but around 300.. it is compression and rebound adjustable, height is dictated by springs which are pretty low Simon
