my wagon

http://www.jollygreenmonster.fotopic.net/p45438043.html

which I have owned 7years and clocked up 235,000miles on the clock (bought at 78,000) and have spent many hours working on lost lots of skin to..

the other week it made

http://www.jollygreenmonster.fotopic.net/p48745151.html

I bought another scoob for everyday use

http://www.jollygreenmonster.fotopic.net/p48745152.html

and was considering stripping the interior and sound proofing from the wagon and making it a little more hardcore.. perhaps a cage etc..

although really it was now the wrong starting point.. the WRX would be better.. but I couldn't be bothered to take both cars off the road and swap engines, gearboxes, diffs, brakes, suspension at that point etc etc..

So when I managed to do this at Brandshatch trackday I actually was only concerned about engine and gearbox damage

BrandsTrackday007.jpg

both engine and box are fine as far as I can tell..

So... today this arrived

I have my work cut out but hopefully this week will start stripping the wagon and cleaning and preparing the new car inbetween mapping etc..

Simon :D

thanks guys..

not sure when I will be doing it tbh, looked at diary and march is pretty much full lol..

wife is not my biggest fan at the moment so weekend passouts are unlikely unless I want to sleep at the workshop... now there is an idea! :D

number of things I would like to do will have to wait, like flocked dash, sound proofing removal etc..

engine and box, diff need swapping etc..

one fairly large task is stripping interior of new car as the engine is in pieces in the boot, the interior has been sold and the farmer style interior just loose in the car in exchange.. and there is a turbo on the front seat, some hideous gauge pod which will be for sale.. sure someone will love it :D

also I think my facelift bumper and ally bonnet will repair to replace steel facelift on new car along with early bumper

I don't dislike it enough to spend money changing it !!! :D
