Jac cheers m8, the only reason was the switchable maps, i wanted a daily driving map and a methanol map for knockers, the anti lag/ launch control was just an added bonus really
jac Posted February 1, 2008 Posted February 1, 2008 The duel fuel maps seems to tick all the boxes for most.
RA Dunk Posted February 1, 2008 Author Posted February 1, 2008 The duel fuel maps seems to tick all the boxes for most. the anti lag is good fun too though http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=zsGfoP0yCrE just a bummer i cant get the car on boost to get it warmed up properly

RA Dunk Posted February 2, 2008 Author Posted February 2, 2008 nope i didnt want that for the sake of the turbo, but its easily acheivable if i do ever want it

frank c Posted February 3, 2008 Posted February 3, 2008 So, can you get different boost settings with the Simtek Dunc or does it still need the AVC-R ?
RA Dunk Posted February 3, 2008 Author Posted February 3, 2008 So, can you get different boost settings with the Simtek Dunc or does it still need the AVC-R ? phoned Andy about this last week and he said there was no need for the AVCR not sure how Andy set up mine though with regard to different settings
frank c Posted February 3, 2008 Posted February 3, 2008 Okay doke. I've been having a look about the usuall sites for info but can't make up my mind yet. There is a few posts about Simtek and other ECU's on S/net but reading those doesn't help me much either. Plenty time to find out what's the best way to go right enough
