scooby princess Posted January 28, 2008 Posted January 28, 2008 You could always buy the caliper paint from halfords and remove the wheel and paint them yourself - its not to differcult and if you look in the technical section i am sure there is a step by step guide on how to remove them first etc
Bailey73 Posted January 28, 2008 Posted January 28, 2008 You could always try these guys, they are based in Swindon Simtek - I have used them in the past and they have proven to me excellent workmanship and good pricing. Hope that helps.
monkip1 Posted January 28, 2008 Posted January 28, 2008 Do it yer self, give yer self a few good hours and jobs a good one, SOD paying some grease monkiy to do a easy job as paint the calipeirs lol
Bailey73 Posted January 28, 2008 Posted January 28, 2008 It all depends on the finish - I found with caliper paint it will peel after a couple of months so personally I would pay for a job that will last.
jkscoob Posted January 28, 2008 Posted January 28, 2008 you want to try the one i use i never had no probs engine lacker its also heat proof
jkscoob Posted January 28, 2008 Posted January 28, 2008 ive had this on since i got the scoob in july

Bailey73 Posted January 28, 2008 Posted January 28, 2008 I hate cleaning wheels but also hate seeing them dirty - its hard work keeping them clean but worth it in the long run. I have only had my STi since Friday and have already cleaned the wheels 3 times.

I was only thinking tonight what can I put on the wheels that only mean I have to jet wash them off. lol

twofourdonkey Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 Thanks mate I will try that - As ED and SP will probably tell you my car is very rarely dirty and it is my pet hate having/cleaning dirty wheels. You could always get black wheels, and only look at them in the dark/ through sunglasses. Works for me.
