Got T1-R's at the mo and they are meant to have a slightly tougher shoulder. To be honest when the time comes to replace, if there isn't another brand out there that offers the same package as the toyo's then I'll prob just get another set. Ask me if I'm still gonna do this in aboot 8 months time when I've had a proper chance to wear the b.uggers oot If you don't have any special settings at the mo, it's definitely worth doing !! Craig
oobster Posted January 24, 2008 Posted January 24, 2008 I think I heard that Hypertech were able to put some slightly less abrasive settings in while still improving the handling - £55 I think they charge. Maybe worth giving Dunc a call. P.S. I have the prodrive settings on my blobeye, with toyo T1S and the inner shoulders only lasted about 8K miles.

higgy Posted January 24, 2008 Posted January 24, 2008 Its all relavint to the amount of miles you do and how long you want your tyres to last. Ive used the prodrive settings since i got my car 4 years ago and i cant fault them and i drive the car like i stole it. lol Higgy
dipsy Posted January 24, 2008 Author Posted January 24, 2008 (edited) Higgy yep i don't do a lot of miles just checked when i had T1-R fitted to the Sti at the end of 06 and there's about 5or more mm above the tread wear indicator Edited January 24, 2008 by Dipsy

Good luck watever you decide. Higgy
