ya steve nice one

but if my car never went wrong

u no it would off been me

Did you manage to dip in to the 7's then Pete.......?

no MJ as car went bang and missing but steve was running just under 8s and i was running 8s dead

so if car was not missing then yes not a prob

Don't think I wish to cause offense hear Pete , but I think you need to understand that the difference between an 8 second 1/8th and a 7 second 1/8th is a lot...ScoobyDazza with his nearly 500bhp and over 500lbft only runs a 7.6 1/8th on a fully prepped drag surface at Shakespeare County in a car designed to do nothing else...

This was good enough to give him an 11 second 1/4 last year , and if you know anything about Subarus you know very well that that is an awesome time for a road car....

Many congrats JD and the best of luck for the rest of the year , hope everyone who attended had a good day and I will look forward to seeing you all at the next event....

the 7.6 was on 'so last year' power ;)

when it was running 440 / 475 ish

but as martyn says , and i totally agree , the difference is massive.

i have gained approx 20 bhp / 30 lb ft for this year and my aim is a 7.5

wow , 0.1 i hear you say . . it's massive on a drag strip, trust me on that .

the 11 second 1/4 pass was 11.824 , the only 1 i managed in the 11s . my aim this year is 11.5
