My07 Wrx 2.5 Boost Levels

Does anyone know what the boost is on a standard MY07 WRX 2.5 vs. MY07 WRX PPP

I'm not really sure... I'd guess at the standard one running about 0.9bar and a PPP'd car running about 1.2bar though. I'll be interested to see myself.

I've found out that the MY07 WRX PPP peaks at about 1.00 - 1.05 bar, not sure about the non PPP though. (That's only about 14.6 - 15.3psi)

I'm gonna stick my digital boost gauge on next week to see (mines is PPP).

I'm sure my MY05 PPP went to 1.2+bar, but the 2.5 will use more air from a similar size turbo.

Your probably right.. the Blobeye WRX PPP was set to just over 1.25bar (18.73 psi on the ECU map) Just goes to show how much more is available from the Hawkeye WRX!!

Haha, it'd probably make an awesome sound for 1 or 2 seconds at 33-34psi.. then you'd have many, many more seconds to cry after you realise you've just melted everything under the bonnet after running 2.3bar of boost. If you're really unlucky it'd hold together just long enough to shatter the WRX 5-speed gearbox too.

Something like 430hp was achieved by this method on a std ECU and it still runs TOTB and Time Attack today in the guise of Zen Performance, albeit currently with a more advanced level of tuning.

I had my first go of the Scoob in really cold frosty air after having Andy F fiddle with the car i'v never felt the car go so well i looked at the peak on the defi's after a hard run it peaked at 1.5 bar
