Get a video survailence recording camera up NOW!! If this guy will travel up fron Glasgow to where you live all tooled up with his m8's then he is commited on harming you or yor property, dont take any chances its not worth it.

i installed one this evening with some help from kloon , a day and night weather proof camera from maplin £40.00 and i borrowed a hard disc recorder from my work thats records up to 14 days on one hard drive .. think that will do for now

Aye, 99% sure its the same car mate... guy bought a Golf after his Scoob if I remember right, its defo a good car, he looked after it really well.

The CCTV thing is a brilliant idea, glad you've got it all set-up already.

That IS Al's old car!!!!! I just checked some of my old pics... Cant believe that I never spotted that before!!!!!

He bought it from new, and I know that he never crashed it..... thats for certain, In fact he only got rid of her just before Dez bought her!!!!

that means that this car is 2 owners(now 3) from now...

Just read this, shocking.

This sound like a scam. Buy the car threaten the seller to get money back. Turn up with the heavies lots of people would pay out of fear. You can then sell the mint car again for a good price, bob's your uncle a couple of grand in your back pocket and 50 quid to each of your mates for being the muscle.

Wouldn't be suprised if the car is up for sale in Glasgow in a week or two.

That is indeed my old car. I got an email from Dale about this whole thing, and i couldnt believe it to be honest.

I bought the car from Eden Subaru about 2.5 years ago. I was the 2nd owner. It was absolutely minted, and it was my pride and joy. The guys in Dundee and Elgin who saw it, will vouch for this.

I had the car for about 18 months-ish, and the only problems i had with the car were the usual STi rear shockers going. It certainly wasnt rolled or crashed thats for sure!!

I traded it in at Barnetts VW in dundee for a mk5 Golf GTi, and I'm sure it stayed pretty local, as my mates saw it a few times in the Dundee/Fife area. I reckon one of the guys from Barnetts might have bought it, as they were literally queueing up to get in it when i traded it in.

Dez, I hope you get this mess sorted out mate - Sounds like these characters from Glasgow are a right bunch of nobbers.

No worries mate. Yeah I'm possibly looking a rejoining the Subaru family! Seen a nice P1 for sale in Ayr, so am asking around the west coast lads to see if they know anything about it. Dont really know much about the P1 tbh, but always liked them.

Tell your son to stick in there. The training will be tough, and real **** at times, but it only gets better from then on. Best of luck to him.
