Focus With Impreza 4wd Transmission In Inv?

Shot in the dark..

Someone mentioned to me the other week that there is a Ford Focus up in Inverness somewhere which has had it's mechanical guts stripped out and replaced with a 4wd system from an impreza. Mainly because it was lighter than designing a 4wd system for the focus..

Sadly I dont have any more details on it than that. It "may" have been up for sale recently..

Anyone heard of this? got any info?

IIRC it was up for sale on SN a while back (or one very similar to it anyway). Was looking like a Focus WRC car IIRC.
