Nice result Craig......have you got a oil blow by issue too?

I've heard of other one mapped recently and it was spitting oil out on the D/V and other oil breather pipes.

I will be getting an oil catch(returns oil to sump) can for him tho.

Funny that as he has a hks ssqv bov too and the bov must be damp with oil.

Have you checked you TMIC and other associated pipe work?

Im glad its not just me, i thought there was something wrong with mine when i lifted the bonnet to find oil on the underside of the bonnet.I have also noticed when changing gear the revs are staying up as well, and when starting the car from cold there is a bit of smoke from the exhaust. But Peter(Fai17) has informed me i need a oil catch tank.I dont want to drive the car now until i get this done.

I have asked Andy about this before. It is completely normal and designed to protect the car. When I had a BOV fitted it propagated the issue though. Nothing to worry about.

Nice Results ! 2.5's are soooooooo "moddable"

My dumpvalve is facing the underside of the bonnet slightly so that is why it will be there, its not loads of oil but it is noticible when you wipe your hand over it

Stick to the Sweet and Sour mate

There is a difference between knowing what a turbo is and what a turbo does

I might not know what a turbo does but i can sure as h3ll know how to connect it up with the oil pipes and water pipes as i fitted it myself ;)

H3ll i even connect up all the fuel hoses, fit the FPR done all the vaccum hose, water hoses and electrical wiring when it was need to rotate the Red Top manifold.

Even AndyF and AlanG was happy with my work...that goes a long way for them to say that!

You done well, even done better than some tuning shops would have done in the circumstances.

My point is that anyone can put a nut into a monkey's mouth but the true skill is understanding why the monkey needs the nut, how the monkey will absorb energy from the nut and eventually how the monkey will dispose of the nut.

Have some books here if you really want to learn about internal combustion engines.
