Just so that you all know I am going to take a year or Two out and go back to the Uk. I will be keeping the car just got to sort out hw long I can keep it on manx plats before I have to put it on to UK one's.

I think if you are only going over for a couple of years tops then coming back here there is no reason you cant leave it on Manx plates, would just mean you would need to come back for your road tax once a year, would also save you from the hassle of having it UK tested, re-registered and MOT'd

Sorry to here that you are going, even for a short time.

You may have to keep the car logged down to a Manx address on the log book, If you get stopped and asked then say you are working away from home.

Save you a bundle on the UK road tax

I am going over on the 20th of december on the night crossing.

Donna as said that I can keep the car registered at her address, and then she will let me know when the tax is due so that I can send her over a the monny for it.
